How to convert HWPX to PDF

Turn supported HWPX pages into a viewable PDF without a remote document service.

  1. Choose one HWPX file and let the browser validate its package and estimate the work.
  2. Start conversion and keep the tab open while pages are rendered sequentially.
  3. Download the PDF and compare every page, table, image and page break with the original.
  4. Keep the HWPX source because the PDF is a visual snapshot rather than an editable conversion.

A visual PDF, not a structural rewrite

Supported HWPX pages are drawn into PDF page images. The result is intended for viewing after review.

  • Searchable or selectable text, links, forms, bookmarks, tags, scripts and interactive behavior are not preserved.
  • Source metadata, attachments, revision behavior and embedded document features are not reproduced as active PDF features.

When a reviewed PDF snapshot is enough

Use this tool for a straightforward HWPX document when a static PDF view is more useful than editable structure.

  • Preparing a simple HWPX document for printing or viewing.
  • Creating a PDF copy for a service that does not accept HWPX.
  • Sharing a checked visual snapshot without exposing the source to a conversion server.

Review fonts and pagination carefully

Missing source fonts are replaced with self-hosted fallback fonts. Text wrapping, spacing, tables, equations, shapes, images and page boundaries can change.

  • Rasterized text is not searchable and can look softer at high zoom.
  • Complex objects, macros, linked content, custom fonts and uncommon HWPX extensions can be omitted or rendered differently.
  • The tool does not promise Hancom Office fidelity; verify the complete downloaded result.

The document stays in browser memory

HWPX parsing, page rendering and PDF creation run locally without posting the source to JUUD or another conversion provider.

  • Only fixed, versioned parser WebAssembly and font assets are fetched from this site's own origin. Their requests do not contain the document name, bytes, text or metadata.
  • External images, linked documents, remote fonts and other network resources referenced by the HWPX package are not fetched.
  • Public-specification notice: “본 제품은 한컴의 HWP 문서 파일(.hwp) 공개 문서를 참고하여 개발하였습니다.”
  • “한글”, “한컴”, “HWP” and “HWPX” are names and marks used by Hancom Inc. JUUD File Tools and its open-source parser are independent and are not affiliated with, sponsored by or approved by Hancom Inc.
